Bee Gees singer Barry Gibbs home (formerly the estate of Johnny Cash) in Nashville Tennessee, is on fire.

Hat-Tip to Gingersnaps for the newsflash.

Update: It's burnt down.

  2. The hardest thing is picking the right song - should it be Tragedy for the current owner, or Ring of Fire for the former incumbent? If we're really lucky, the fire crew will say they took so long to get there 'cos they were too busy picking flowers (as a Man in Black once said).

  3. maneatingcheesesandwich: I used the Tragedy in the post, and Nashville Talking used the Ring(s) of Fire...

  4. What can I say ? I'll let Johnny make my excuses before I leave - "I don't like it, but I Guess Things Happen That Way". (Although I've not heard it for years)http://mfile3.akamai.com/14123/wm2/muze.download.akamai.com/2890/us/uswm2/_!/984/334984_1_15.asx?auth=daEbpdfc1aLdKc.bqcvarbCagagbYbTcoap-bghcyz-Ci-fgfdf&aifp=1234&obj=v10422

But replacing all the brackets ... Then the orphans will be re-united. We have an excellent western swing band in Manchester called the lonesome and penniless cowboys - most Hank Williams with some Cash, including a Rap - far better than Wangford.

Can you fix it for them to play HMP Strangeways or Armley or the like?

    Best w
