David Cameron's Tories enact The Charge of the Light Brigade
It might be said that now with this statement the battle lines have been drawn between Gordon Brown's government, and David Cameron's Tories, and not only has it put the Tories on the policy back foot, but David Cameron's Tories can be likened to The Charge of the Light Brigade.
There is a difference between David Cameron's Tories and the Tory Party in general. The former is largely made up of Old Etonians, school chums of David Cameron, and can be likened to Tony Blair's sofa government. The obvious problem here is that Labour have outflanked the Tories with a change of leadership, this means that David Cameron's Tories have become obsolete and now are little more than cannon fodder.
I am not alone.
Hat-Tip to Bob Piper.
