Thought crime or terrorism?

Thought crime or terrorism?

Whatever else you want to call this, I don't believe that his conduct amounts to terrorism. I believe that he has been convicted of thought crime.

I have read the link to the story and it can honestly be compared to downloading child porn to your computer. That is also a thought crime in basic terms but will land you in the dock as in the case of wassisface as mentioned a few weeks back on this very blog 'ere.

Also Pete Townsend got done for the very same, innit?

The inchoate crimes my be considered "thought crimes", but they are not being rolled out to pick on a poor islamist terrorist.

Conspiracy, attempts, possession...sorry, but I think this is one dangerous muppet who deserves to be at Gitmo.

  5. transfattyacid: I think everything on his website was already available on the internet. The thinking might have been present but there appeared to be no physical act.

kris: More ideas than action. A long way from a 9/11 or 7/7.
