McCannorama
Last night I watched "The Mystery of Madeleine McCann" - A Panorama Special. I was not disappointed because I fully expected that it would be biased in favour of the McCanns version of events. The BBC did make a little bit of an effort to create some semblance of balance, but overall the scales were weighted in favour of the McCanns.
The McCanns opted for trial by media, the old best form of defence is attack approach, it meant that the Defence speaks out before the Prosecution state its case. This unusual get in first approach raises the question why. I suspect it has to do with guilt. I find it annoying that the McCanns chose to go to the media, and then criticise the media when the media starts questioning the McCanns version of events and judging them.
Jane Tanner did not come across as a witness who could be believed. She has switched her story more times than a chameleon changing colour. And, I find it odd that Gerry McCann went to play tennis at 6pm with Jeremy Wilkins and then asks him to look in on Kate and the children at 6.30pm. Why? Especially, when Gerry McCann returned to the apartment at 7pm. It would appear that Gerry could not trust Kate to look after the children for half an hour without checking up on her.
What a surprise that the private detective agency employed by the McCanns have come up with a lead that leads the chase away from the McCann camp.
Jane Tanner didn't mention Russell O'Brien. Why? Why was she alone, and not with her partner supporting her, holding her hand? Is it just a rumour that Russell O'Brien and Kate McCann...? Wasn't it Russell O'Brien who later picked out Robert Murat?
ReplyDeleteSo, are Gerry McCann and Jeremy Wilkins close friends? I mean, you wouldn't ask any old acquaintance to go check on your wife, would you? Is Jane Tanner really speaking the truth about seeing Mystery Man with a child? Was it Gerry McCann? Read what Ricado, Michette, tripz and the others are writing on the Mirror Forum which proves, once again, to be far more investigative and intelligent than the Puppet British Media. I don't know, first Britain was laughed at because of Blair being Bush's puppet/lapdog; and now with this Gordon Brown and McCann affair...what's going on? Does Gerry know too much about the medical problems of certain key governmental figures?
I think Jane Tanner knows more than she should, and someone is afraid. I think the whole case stinks, as does 3/4 of the British population, let alone the populations in other countries! Whether the McCanns and 'friends' are brought to trial or not, they are all guilty of something in connection to Madeleine. They will get their comeuppance.
They will get their comeuppance"
ReplyDeleteWe can only hope that happens!
Judging by events so far I very much doubt it.
Jane Tanner's story is just another calculated event to deflect guilt from the McCanns, and given time we'll see many more.
From the beginning everything about the events of that night has been suspicious. So many lies have been told, and will continue to be told, and for what?
The fact that the parents regularly wined and dined without providing childcare for three infants all under the age of 4 says it all,and then some.
Madeleine came to harm on the night of May 3rd,she was the victim of two cold and uncaring parents.
Since her disappearance their only real concern has been money.
"Leaving no stone unturned" was Gerry's mantra, and how quickly he's forgotten that.
I blogged on this, too, but I thought it put the parents in a bad light, mainly. I agree the whole case stinks and that they are guilty of something.
ReplyDeleteI thought that it was David Payne who was asked to and susequently checked on KMcC & the children
ReplyDeleteNella
Nella, thank you. You are right! Yes, I realise that it was David Payne. Forgive me; there are already too many lies told by the Tapas9; and their refusal to answer questions has only resulted in rumours, which may or may not be lies.
ReplyDeleteI really do not know if this is a 'suspected murder case', or a 'hoax' that went wrong as LogicMan and others have already mentioned on the Mirror Forum.
But, I wonder if it is right that this lying, insensitive, arrogant group of doctors are allowed back at work. I would not want to have any one of them near me, or my loved ones. I do not trust them.
Wasn't it strange that Jane Tanner, NEARLY SEVEN MONTHS LATER, wanted to reinforce her statement about seeing a man with a child in pink pyjamas?
ReplyDeleteWhat do we know about 'Baby Grace'?
I remember reading on the Mirror Forum, a long time ago, that a ship could be involved in Madeleine's diappearance. The name Hueva and Texas came up as well!
As you say, JHL, it's all about cleaning/distancing the McCanns and their 'friends' from Madeleine.
I shivered when I heard Tanner agree to be interviewed 'IF IT WOULD HELP MADELEINE' !!!!!!!!?????
HUELVA in spain. Some people on the Mirror Forum, and the Daily Express comments forum, noted that Gerry went to Huelva, on 3rd August, and managed to lose the camera for over TWO hours. And, that a ship left Huelva for Texas, passing through Galveston, where 'Baby Grace' was found.
ReplyDeleteJust a 'coincidence'?
Managed to lose the cameraman. My mistake.
ReplyDeleteSorry for laughing but, 'I think the whole case stinks, as does 3/4 of the population' is very funny.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about it before, until Jane Tanner highlighted it, but it IS very strange that someone should carry a child they've just taken from her bed on their two arms.
When she demonstrated how the child was carried, as if the child was scooped up, it was only then I realised that a kidnapper would have to have held her differently to get out of a window or open a door and gate, and it's doubtful she would have been returned to that position which makes 'the kidnapper' helpless, with his arms full like that.
Didn't it sound hollow when Gerry McCann said the twins slept soundly through all the mayhem and it has occured to him that the abductor must have drugged them to make them sleep so soundly?
