I don't think that David Cameron has set a very good example by breaking the law when he cycled through a red light district. When Tim Montgomerie attempted to follow the leader he received a £30 fixed penalty notice. Last year Tim Montgomerie's cycle was stolen. There is a strong possibility that it was an inside job. The Thief of Bagdad would need some form of transport to make a fast get away. The police have released CCTV footage of the suspect they are seeking in connection with the theft of Tim Mongomerie's cycle.
