Why don't we let 7 year olds be the judges?

Why don't we let 7 year olds be the judges?

On the one hand we have Gingersnaps 7 year old daughter asking this question: "Why do we kill people who kill people to prove that killing people is wrong?".

On the other hand we have Head of Legal blogging the US Supreme Court decision in Baze v Rees on lethal injection. http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/07-5439.ZS.html

  1. The Supreme Court ruled the 8th amendment ,in relation to lethal injection, is not being violated providing lethal injection does not cause'harm'? Did they misread the word LETHAL???

Yes, the 7 year old should be sitting on the Supreme Court, after school. We will just change the hours of operation.
