Call this a democracy?
England and Wales have a more punitive judicial system than most of the world's dictatorships.
It is only right that Nelson Mandela should speak out against Robert Mugabe's regime. It is a pity whilst he is in the UK he could not say a few words about our Bricks of Shame, the penal system, then perhaps Jack Straw might have listened.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
