Criminal record for 90p bus fare 'error'
A bus passenger is launching a legal challenge after being handed a criminal record amid a dispute over a 90 pence fare.
Tom Usher believed he had paid the charge by swiping his Oyster travel card as he boarded the bus in December.
But a spot check by an inspector found that the payment had not been debited.
Once again this must go down as the crime of the century!
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
What an utter waste of time and resources. And what a way to look stupid pursuing such an action.
