Ex-soldier arrested for kidnap after citizen's arrest of hooligan

An Army veteran was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping after carrying out a citizen's arrest when young hooligans attacked his home.

Frank McCourt, 57, returned home to find his wife Maria in tears on the sofa after their £170,000 semi-detached home in Crawley, West Sussex was targeted by a gang throwing sticks, stones, mud and eggs.

He rang a police anti-social behaviour hotline and was put on hold for 45 minutes before deciding to take matters into his own hands
.

If the police fail to respond and a citizen is not allowed to perform a citizen's arrest, what is one supposed to do?

As I have posted previously, the poo-lice cannot move anti social yobs along BUT can and DO move disabled people away and threaten them with removal of driving license so that they are not attacked by violent parish councillors.

You need to hear the full story on THAT one. Poo-lice wankers.
