Soldier 'died during punishment'
Soldier 'died during punishment'
"A soldier collapsed and died of heatstroke while being subjected to an informal Army punishment known as "beasting", a court has heard".
Isn't that cap badge the Prince of Wales regiment? In any event, Charlie, and Ma'am, doesn't it make you proud to be British, or German, as the case may be?
And to other news...
Wife 'died a hero' in Afghanistan
"The first British female soldier killed in Afghanistan has been praised as a "hero" by her husband".
My first reaction upon hearing this was 'What a waste of meat!'. I wonder if this was taking Tomboyism too far? In any event, a male is a hero and a female is a heroine. But, I would not have called it a heroic act to be simply blown up by a landmine. Shit happens! I thought the Army employed mine detectors? We shouldn't even be in Afghanistan. One death over there is one too many. If politicians think the war is such a good thing, I suggest they get their arses over there and fight rather than fiddle their expenses!
why did he go there in the first place?
