McCanns to get away with murder

McCanns to get away with murder

Apparently, Gerry and Kate McCann are not to be charged with any offences in relation to the disappearance of their 3 year old daughter Madeleine. From the outset it looked as if a charge of manslaughter rather than murder would have been brought. Perhaps, even a charge of child neglect and or child abandonment. However, it is now emerging that the McCanns are likely to walk free from any criminal charge. This being the case, it is a sad day for justice.

Police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann are closing the case, Portuguese media has reported.

We tried to get you justice Madeleine and we have failed. The McCanns have outsmarted us.

Police could reopen the case if new evidence emerges, the papers said.

UPDATE: Portuguese detectives are not dropping the Madeleine McCann case due to lack of evidence, the country's Attorney General has said.

  3. Even though the case may not be closed just yet, its clear the writing is on the wall.

I am desperatly sad and angry that the McCanns have (in your words) got away with murder.

    What message does this give?

Is champagne being cracked open at the McCanns HQ?

From the outset the McCanns have ducked and dived, spun and weaved and lied and lied.

I heard on Radio 2 today people blaming the portuguese detectives for Madeleine's disappearance (call it what you like)!!!!!!

The McCanns have taken peoples money, stayed away from work, travelled the world. What next?

Channel 4 Super Nanny! hosted by Kate and Gerry, If you cant control the kids....dont worry just lose them....its o.k cause we did!!!!!

  5. It will be a very sad day for Justice if Trial by media with internet blogers as jury ever becomes law.

To Jojam: perhaps if the media did their job, and the govt didn't give these people special treatment, bloggers won't be so angry. If everyone were asking serious questions like jailhouselawyer is, then UK's reputation won't be in the gutter as it is now, because of this case.

Here in Brazil it is the law for rich and powerful people to get away with murder etc. etc.. The UK is no different except that the British people think they are better than the Brazilian people, more educated, more polite etc. etc.
