A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate"
(Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
The Western Morning News is my daily paper. I saw that online poll a day after it started. It NEVER showed a no vote. I think the majority would vote for the Tories (not because we like Cameron) but simply because Labour have done so much damage to the rural way of life (stopping public transport, closing post offices, increasing costs, not capping water bills and so on) only people living in this area can see the full extent of the damage Labour have caused. Now, the Tories propose to do something about the situation and therefore the Tories will certainly get a yes vote. I may write about this in my own blog today or tomorrow
I am not getting into an argument with you as obviously you have not lived in Devon with both labour and tories calling the shots here.
Anyhow, I'll never get into any argument with anyone who can't get their facts right - if anyone can't get my sex right then I don't suppose for one moment their political facts and comments and views are right either.
At the end of the day JHL kindly allows all comments - I may not agree with yours but at least I do respect them. Please do not disrespect my comments or my sex eh!
Oh lets have a ferret here - Bob Piper has been a Labour Councillor for the Abbey Ward in Sandwell, West Midlands, for nine years. He is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa Football Club and a follower of Yorkshire County Cricket Club no wonder I had a politally biased comment....oooh from a labour councillor (that's bad enough) who supports aston Villa? (simply no taste! what's wrong with supporting Spurs?) likes boring cricket (oh I rest my case!) how nice for a West Midland Councillor to critisise my views - especially when West Midlands is geographically far distant to Devon. However, thank you for my free entertainment today and even more reason why I understand that your comfortable highly paid job and salary is in jeopardy. Gawd! if you can't do your homework and get my sex correct then it shows just how good the labour party is at getting any facts correct, whose members comment on areas that they don't even live in. But as you don't live in Devon or drive down little lanes with room for only one car, or live my life then do belt up as you have no argument whatsoever *snicker*
Tut tut... hasn't she got her knickers in a twist.
I take it back, she's not a communist, just a fool. I may have got her gender wrong, but if you call yourself by a stupid name you can hardly complain. But having a stupid name shouldn't mean you are entitled to get all your facts wrong too.
Don't know what to make of this one, John.

Was the Devonshire Dumpling pulling your leg when he spoke about Labour "stopping public transport" to rural communities or "capping water bills"?
ReplyDeleteHe has clearly forgotten which party deregulated and sold off public transport to the private sector and privatised the water industry.
So... which other private companies profits does he want capping? Marks and Spencer? Toyota? Barclays Bank?
The man's a bloody communist!
James: Didn't you follow the link to Bob's place?
ReplyDeleteDD: I think Labour has squandered the opportunity once it got into power to keep the Tories out of power for eons.
Bob: I don't know what DD will think about you giving her a sex change...
oi Bob, I don't have dangly bits!

Still... Tory voters... what can you expect.
