Methinks I need to bring you all along with me on this

Thoughts

One of the problems for me coming out of prison is leaving prisoners behind - those I have fought for whilst behind bars.

A problem for me in the world outside of prison - is that my creative thinking leaves any trying to follow my thought trail behind.

It is what prevents me from becoming a good teacher.

Bear with me on this.

A classic communication problem in the trenches during the First World War...

One end of the line: "Send reinforcements, we're going to advance".

Message received and understood.

The other end of the line: "They said, send three and four pence, we're going to a dance!".

  2. Cherrypie: What a relief, a fellow sufferer, I thought I was alone.

I don't have a problem writing about my life because I take my starting point and then press record and my mind relays the message.

It's when I take other people's thinking, and try to combine it with my own and re-present it to display another image the House of Cards falls down.

  3. I often have different thoughts to other people and I know there is no way they are even going to understand the thought.

Even if I could explain the thought to a friend (which I can sometimes) I know that most people wouldn't grasp it.

I remember, as a schoolboy in the sixties, the Headmaster giving us all a lecture about the dangers of 'rumours'.

That was the story he illustrated it with!!.
