The plot thickens...

The plot thickens...

Last week I phoned Daniel Vulliamy MA,LLM,FRSA (Senior Lecturer in Industrial Relations at the Centre for Lifelong Learning, at the University of Hull, and we agreed to meet at the PAVE on Princes Avenue at 3pm, today, for drinks and a meal. I had also arranged for Kate Flanagan and daughter Irene to turn up. Lukas, Daniel's son, came to pick Daniel's pocket, and a good time was had by all.

When Daniel walked in he said he thought it looked like Kate, Irene and I were conspirators plotting a revolution. I replied, "funny you should say that". I would have preferred that we had met at the Revolution in the Old Town because the acoustics in the Pave are terrible, a young child was screaming in there and it had the effect of drowning out everybody's conversation on all the tables. Of course we are plotting a revolution. A bloodless coup. The purpose being to overthrow Parliament and it's apathy towards prisoners human right to the vote.
