'Don't worry... they won't get me,' said Northern Ireland policeman killed by Continuity IRA
Police Constable Stephen Carroll told his wife not to worry about him, just hours before he was gunned down by members of the Continuity IRA in Craigavon, Northern Ireland.
Was he over confident? Wishful thinking? Being protective towards his wife's feelings? Or a combination of these?
