Going off-topic :- Tuesday 10.50pm BBC4 are screening the final part of GF Newman's series Law & Order: A Prisoner's Tale. As I remember, when this was first (and last) screened in 1978, the Prison Officers' Union threatened to strike if it was ever repeated.
