Rapist may face more charges after hot tea attack
A rapist could face more charges after he attacked a social worker during his trial.
Jason Savage, 26, was found guilty by a jury at Hull Crown Court of beating two girlfriends and raping two women and a teenage girl.
But during his trial he threw a boiling hot cup of tea at a social worker who had visited him in the prison cells of the court.
The social worker, from Hull City Council, visited Savage to tell him he could have no contact with his children.
I would be very surprised if it was in fact "a boiling hot cup of tea" simply because experience suggests that it was less than boiling hot as they are served cooler for such an occasion as this.
