Serial sex attacker has jail term reduced

Serial sex attacker has jail term reduced

A sex attacker who admitted violent assaults on three women in Nottingham has had his jail sentence reduced by judges at the Court of Appeal.

This photo was published on a Nottingham newspaper online and then pulled. Why?

Nooroz Khan, 27, formerly of Kimberley Street, Sneinton, was jailed at Nottingham Crown Court in March for the attacks around Christmas 2006.

The court heard he bit the face of one 16-year-old victim when she screamed.

Mr Justice Beatson said his seven-year sentence was "too long" and reduced it to six years at the Appeal Court.

A two-year extended license period originally imposed was also overturned.

And then they wonder why the public has lost confidence in the Criminal Justice System!
