"Crossbow Cannibal" Stephen Griffiths, accused of murdering three prostitutes, has attempted suicide in prison.
Mr Griffiths, 40, was taken to the care wing at HMP Wakefield in West Yorkshire, where he is being held.
He was reportedly found unconscious on the floor of his cell yesterday with a sock tied round his neck.
