PACE President to visit Georgia
Strasbourg, 10.06.2010 – Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will make an official visit to Georgia from 13 to 15 June 2010. During his visit, he is due to meet the President of the Republic Mikheil Saakashvili, the Chairman of the Parliament David Bakradze, the Vice-Prime Minister and State Minister for Reintegration Temur Yakobashvili, the Foreign Minister Gregory Vashadze and the State Minister of Refugees and Accommodation Koba Subeliani.
Talks are also scheduled with, in particular, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court George Papuashvili, representatives of the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition, the Governor of the Shida Kartli Region Lado Vardzelashvili and the Chairman of the Government of Adjara Levan Varshalomidze.
PACE President Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and the President of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze will meet the press on Tuesday 15 June at 12.45 p.m. at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel in Batumi.
