Prison reduction by expansion...
Kenneth Clarke "pointed out that one of the ministers he'd brought with him to the lecture yesterday would be signing a contract for a new prison today".
This appears to fly in the face of the tone of his speech, that is, saying one thing and doing the opposite.
I have no interest in creating a false link, however, wouldn't it be interesting if the disgraced ex-Tory Minister Jonathan Aitken had an interest in this prison build? Particularly, if Stuart Mitson is also involved in the project. Especially as Aitken chaired a review into prisons and Mitson was a member of the panel; and Aitken recommended that the next government use the Mitson Model Academy Prison...

A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
