A walk on the wild side
It would appear that a man was given an ASBO by magistrates as a 10 year sentence, 7 years ago, for sleeping rough in the town he was born in. Apparently, the ASBO bans him from walking down the High Street. It has so far cost the taxpayers £1.3m trying to enforce the ASBO. Now magistrates are calling for the police and CPS to scrap the ASBO on this man.
Surely, it would have been cheaper to house him?
