A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate"
(Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
This has done the rounds of the police blogs already, but it doesn't stop being funny. It is a minor consolation that an officer from the force in question has identified the crew as a van load of PCSOs being driven by a Special (who was already in line for a bollocking for wrecking the engine, but has now been stuck on for prevarication, having flatly denied having been on blues and twos....).
That being said, more damage has been done to vehicles by coppers putting the wrong type of fuel in, than has ever been done by Weekend Warriors getting out of their depth.......

MECS: I found it on the Torygraph website. Bang to rights on the blues and twos, but the wail did sound funny as it got drowned out.
ReplyDeleteThe Guardian is doing some funny cartoons about PCOs at the moment...
