Three go missing from open prison
"Three inmates have absconded from an open jail in south Gloucestershire".
I wonder if they could argue that they were only easing the prison overcrowding crisis if and when they are captured?
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
Why would one do that? If conditions were not too harsh, you might nip off for a quickie with your wife but then see out your time and get remission anyway. Now they're recidivists in the eyes of the law.
