Junk Mail
I am somewhat puzzled why the Guardian Media Section is reviewing a non-media event. That is, Iain Dale's intended publication Total Politics (which I have dubbed Total Bollocks for obvious reasons). As the review points out, it won't be published before May. And, Iain Dale's last prediction stated it was hoped to publish in June. So, what can one write about a non-event? Absolutely nothing. It's a bit rich the Guardian having the cheek to call what is clearly an advert Media Section. It's as laughable as the extreme-Right Winger Iain Dale stating that Total Politics will be "politically neutral". As if to prove his point, he has employed as editor Sarah Mackinlay, daughter of Labour MP Andrew Mackinlay. Given Iain Dale's recent misogynist attacks on David Cameron's policy to introduce a third of his ministers to be women, and calling LibDem MP Susan Kramer delusional and putting words into her mouth, and stating that LibDem MP Sarah Teather is brainless, it does appear to be a queer choice.
At it again, John. :)
ReplyDeleteJames: LOL.
ReplyDeleteI had to go back and read Mr. Dale's piece again, as I thought from the way he was gushing it would be popping thru my letterbox any day now!
ReplyDeleteSo yes a bit of a non-event then.
I wonder if the May launch was to coincide with queer dressed men dancing around a lamp post on Clapham Common?
BB: Could well be, as I recall the Welsh Secretary, Ron Davies MP, resigned after an incident on Clapham Common...
