Biggs' bid for Christmas release
"Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs should be released from prison by Christmas as he will have served one third of his sentence, his lawyers have claimed.
Biggs, 78, in Norwich Prison, has previously suffered strokes and heart attacks which left him seriously ill".
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

Buster Edwards was sentenced to 15 years in jail so it makes sense that as Ronnie Biggs was returned to prison in 2001 the Government will want their pound of flesh and they probably won't release him until about 2016 - interesting that these days you can commit a murder (let alone a far bigger robbery) and get just a few years in the clink.
