Boris the thief gets rid of police chief
Boris the thief gets rid of police chief
Could it just be that this is the reason why Boris sought his revenge against Sir Ian Blair?
I believe you were targetted because of your outspoken views/refusal to bow down to McCanns' abduction plea. They have government protection; it's media monitoring unit tracks commentating and acts accordingly - as Mitchell threatened.
Sir Ian said he could not continue without Boris's support. The question is with which issue amid unsubstantiated scurrilous media reports ?
Labour's given to using the media as 'judge and jury', releasing disinformation, as opposed to standard administrative procedures. The McCanns being the prime example.
I expect Sir Ian's views matched yours regarding government orders to Councils to deploy, what can only be described as, Hitler youth to monitor adults.
Labour's renowned for subtefuge, spin and dishonesty ....
It's the responsibility of the Home Office to ensure the Mayor acts within his jurisdictions.
It's not yet known which political/personal issue Boris felt unable to support on Sir Ian's behalf.
The reason for Jacqui Smith's inaction on Sir Ian's behalf which led to his resignation is the key question. For some inexplicable reason she's shifting blame and her responsibility for Sir Ian's role as Head of the Police onto Boris.
The Judge in the recently successful Ghurka case ruled Jacqui Smith had "acted unlawfully". She's acted extremely dubiously in Sir Ian's resignation, for which she, not Boris is responsible.
Political subtefuge ... it's not know what information Boris was given by the Home Office; was it substantiated or 'scurrilous political rumour' ?
Labour minister's are given to using and abusing peoples' trust as shown by their betrayal over the Lisbon Treaty. Was Boris likewise set up to be used and abused ?
jailhouselawyer,
ReplyDeleteBoris is being made the scapegoat.
You've had first hand experiences of being 'targetted'.
Sir Ian Blair has been placed in an untenable position following weeks of scurrilous unsubstantiated media innuendo.

By public consent, he 'stole' the Mayorship from Labour !
ReplyDeleteJacqui Smith shifted Home Office responsibility onto Boris.
ReplyDeleteThe question is why and on whose authority ?
Brown appears to have taken no action against her since the Judge ruled her actions in the Ghurka case were "unlawful".
