Music is innocent...
What gets me about all of this is that radio stations etc will not play Gary Glitter records nor those of Jonathan King. I don't stop playing their music at home on CDs because of what they have done (JK does maintain his innocence). And yet, they will play Michael Jackson records. True he has not been convicted of anything, but he did pay out $14 million for the kid's parents to drop the charges. Again I will listen to him singing. It does appear as though there is some hypocrisy by the radio stations.
Yes, I actually agree with you. The same would apply to Boy George and of course Ozzy Osbourne who spent some time in HMP The Green in sunny Birmingham. There is also of course Pete Doherty and Tracy Chapman. The list goes on in fact!
ReplyDeleteYou never see the likes of Actors Ricky Tomlinson and Leslie Grantham banned from TV because they have done stretches in prison! Pure prejudice if you ask me!
You can't legally pay someone not to testify against you. Thats the biggest load of ignorant crap perpetuated by idiots. Go to wikipedia and learn what a lawsuit and what he civil settlement is. He settled a LAWSUIT. Thats not an admission of guilt. If the accuser wanted to, they could have taken their accusations to CRIMINAL court where a child molestation case should be tried, not in civil court. The settlement did not prevent them from testifying in civil court.
ReplyDeleteI meant criminal court at the end. Leave the man alone and quit promoting him as a pedophile, when really there was no evidence he did it just the words of liars and their was a ton of evidence he was being scammed.
