Comedy of terrors
"Five men have been convicted for being part of an alleged terrorist cell in Birmingham. The group's leader has been jailed for life".
It does not help our overcrowded prisons crisis to jail people for life for thoughts. This was not even a victim less crime. There was no identifiable victim. There was no beheading. There was not even an attempt to behead anybody. All there is is a tape recordings of somebody saying he would like to behead somebody. And a shopping list for items which can be legally bought over the counter. Things that had been legally bought over the counter, were then legally shipped abroad.
This whole war on terror has turned into a comedy of terrors.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
