McCanns: A reconstruction is pointless
I think under normal circumstances a Crime Watch style reconstruction can be beneficial to a police investigation. For example, seeing it may jog witnesses memories. The problem in the McCann case, unless Gerry and Kate McCann suddenly decide to come clean with their respective roles in this affair, is that a reconstruction is pointless. All it will provide is what we already know, that is, that 9 friends on holiday together engaged in a binge drinking session in the Tapas Bar.
There was no abduction.
There was no break-in.
There was no Jane Tanner sighting of an alleged abductor.
Madeleine is missing.
The parents are responsible.
They have not given a satisfactory explanation for Madeleine's disappearance.
Like the PJ, I am tired of playing the McCanns game of hide and seek. It may well be that the PJ are just using the reconstruction to lure the McCanns back to Portugal.
