Crown refuses to reveal secret Lockerbie paper
"The Crown Office has refused to hand over a secret document vital to unearthing the truth about the Lockerbie bombing.
The defence team of the Libyan convicted of the bombing has now called for a procedural hearing to discuss the Crown's refusal to disclose the document from an unnamed "foreign" country.
At the hearing, in the High Court in Edinburgh on Thursday, the defence will ask the three judges to decide whether the document should be disclosed".
What has the Crown got to hide?

Scott: Thanks for that. I agree with Robert Black's analysis that it will be interesting to see how the court is able to balance disclosure and the right to a fair trial against secrecy and the so-called public interest immunity.
Interesting indeed. Can't trust the bastards.
John, I was always very uneasy with the trial and the verdict.
The evidence presented seemed to be very weak, and not very convincing.
But it will be interesting to see if the court can produce an acceptable ruling on disclosure.
