Madeliene: Police arrest two suspects

There is an irony here in that Gerry and Kate McCann have obtained money by deception, and now two people have been arrested by police for attempting to extort money from the McCanns. Whilst it is only right that the police have arrested this pair for their alleged crime, I am still waiting for them to question and arrest the main culprits in Madeliene's disappearance.

Alas, my opinion of you as a lawyer, jailhouse or shithouse, has just gone lower on the minus scale. Your post contains an accusation of criminal conduct against the McCanns who would be full entitled to sue for libel. Perhaps you should consider taking up your old profession, you might need the money!

David Duff, that's a pretty stupid comment.

The children were left in their room alone, door open + unlocked, for three hours. One disappeared.

If a Portuguese babysitter had been looking after them and had left them, she would be in prison today.

Clearly the parents are culpable for neglecting their children.

David Duff: As the McCanns know full well what happened to Madeliene, setting up a fund to help find her is a deception. More importantly, two of the children were neglected and/or abandoned for 3 hours whilst they set up an alibi to try and explain Madeliene's disappearance.

What do you think has happened to the child, John?

I think Gerry McCann has lashed out in a temper and killed her I hinted as much in this post:

ah, interesting theory. Certainly there needs to be *some* explanation for the *proven* lies about windows being forced, doors broken, and so on, and the immediate conclusion that she had been abducted.

Though there were other people there eating with them. I wouldn't expect others to support their story if they knew she had been killed, but that doesn't mean that they knew. Also it's quite hard to hide evidence of murder. Not sure your theory stacks up, though perhaps there is evidence and the police are just compiling a dossier before arrest.

Theft by deception, and now murder. Keep digging!

You have upset David Duff. How dare you upset that hypersensitive reactionary buffoon.
