Magistrate sues over relative's assault claims

A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

As for social services, If there were physical marks, would they have take any action?

I know Mr Westcott personally. I know that we never know what goes on behind closed doors, but he is a lovely man - kind and gentle.
He is also seriously ill and would only bring this action if he were innocent of Dr Westcott's allegations.
Just to compound matters, he was flooded out in the July flooding. He does not deserve suck ill luck.
