First I could get the Daily Mirror site up on Firefox, but then I got the message below when I tried to get on to the forum. I tried IE and managed to get onto the forum. When I posted, and then went elsewhere, and tried to get back on I got the same message. Are there any techies out there who can explain what is going on?
UPDATE: I managed to get back on after several tries on Firefox.

there was an article written by Ulrika Johnson some time ago, not sure if it was for Mirror but think it was: it was gushing and supportive, not unlike the Allison Pearson one the other day.
I tried to post something on the comments along the lines of being one of those "awful" people (her words) who begged to differ with the official version of events. Not only did it not get published but I got a message up saying access to the site was restricted. I didn't know if this was a general problem or specifically for me.
There was an article in the Times online yesterday - actually there are two, one is dated today (14th) but came out a few hours after the first one. It is about the visit of social workers to the McCann's home.
I wrote a comment questioning what the social workers had said: i.e. that it is normal (can't recall exact words) for social workers to visit to determine risk etc. My response is that it is not normal practice at all. If social workers have any doubts at all, they have a mandate to remove any other children from their parents.
In this case, the McCanns have not merely aroused suspicion, they are formal suspects.
The real issue here is not so much about the McCanns being good/bad parents etc. but about the duplicity of the authorities. It is deeply frustrating that there is this collective veil over SS, the police etc, who all choose to overlook their lawful duty - simply because it is the McCanns, who are high profile. In time, no doubt, this will backfire spectacularly.
This remains unpublished also. It does seem as if anyone who even raises a question expressing doubt is prevented from expressing that view.
Little wonder if the Portuguese authorities think we English are odd.
I am pleased to report that The Times have now published my comments submitted to them yesterday.
