Girl killed by van in hit-and-run
"A girl of six has died in a hit-and-run involving a van on Merseyside".
This is unmistakenly a tragedy. But, call me old fashioned, what on earth was a 6 and 5 year old doing out at this time of the night when they both should have been tucked up safely in bed?
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

Kids are very quick and sneaky, they can be out of your eyesight and earshot so fast you won't even realise it. There are genuine cases where this has happened but also, too many parents or care givers don't do checks either and that is the gravest of mistakes.
