Sitemeter and spam
For technical reasons I am unable to publish the screengrab. However, as you can clearly see from the list of visits to my blog all bar the last has my blog URL as the address. Therefore what is the last one doing there and who has allowed it to encroach upon my blog?

Clever spam!
I would be doing a trojan check using somethink like A-squared (free) or similar.
The problem with using something like AdGrid is that you may end with lots of spambots clogging up your site.
It may be that you clicked on something within sitemeter (I use it as well) to increase traffic and have inadvertently given it permission.
I think someone is being naughty. I did a Google search and found an interesting blog post criticising sitemeter for this kind of thing with adware/spyware.
Merkin: I will run the scanners and see if anything shows up. I don't go in for increasing traffic, I accept what comes in naturally people just coming for the read. I leave the artificially inflated stats to the likes of Guido and Iain Dale. I will also check the permissions on sitemeter to see if I have done something inadvertently, but I suspect this is something sitemeter has done of its own accord.

It may well be. Very likely they are trying to push you towards a paid version.
Was just a thought that you may have pushed a button for 'SiteMeter Premium' for example.
If you are needing any help for suggestions as to how to 'secure the premises' gimme a shout - it is an ongoing battle with me (not for the sites I visit but the content I post).

As a final thought, this may have come from Google Analytics.
I disallow the cookie from them.
Probably, you have local guys who are much more savvy and better able to explain than me.
It's one of the things we have to fight against on a regular basis.

It could be linked to all the 'off line' targetting you suffered. Someone was determined to get you to Court on a 'piffling excuse'. Your views in Madeleine's case obviously don't suit those protecting the parents, do they ? Mitchell has access to the government monitoring unit and corrupt practice silencing the likes of you. They could, if they so chose, take over and control blogs considered to be 'politically damaging'.

Come to think of it you expected to be silenced didn't you? After you were banned from 3 A's, you joked about banning yourself from your own site - IT exists for dark forces to do just this.
Thereafter, run the blog in your name ... I'm told it's happened to most others.

I think it could be related to you depriving a canine of sufficient chews. He gets wound up, goes upstairs while you are on the carsie and who knows what shite he inputs into your computer? He may appear to be a loveable, furry four legged friend but could be secretly plotting to ursurp your computer so that he can use Tesco online to deliver huge quantities of rawhide to the Hull address. I wouldn't trust him.
