A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

I know I said we shouldn't speak of people as we know them in real life but I'm going to break my own rule here and say I never found you in the least racist. WTF are they going on about?
Mark Leech is an ex-prisoner who reported a blog post of mine to the police and alleged it was a crime.
He is the owner and editor of a prison newspaper called Converse, and in the March edition he libelled me by calling me a racist.
As you can see from the police letter, once he instigated the police inquiry he should have awaited the result before rushing into print and pre-judging the issue.
At the very least he must print an apology of the same size as the original libel.
I am also pursuing other options including possible legal action against Mark Leech.
John, I have never found you to be a racist at all in anything that you have ever written about.
