Prisoner tells Prison Ombudsman call me on my mobile

Prisoner tells Prison Ombudsman 'call me on my mobile'

This is not an April Fool's joke. More on the story within the story.

A little birdie told me an interesting story. It goes like this. A prisoner in Wakefield Prison submitted a complaint to the outgoing Prison Ombudsman, Stephen Shaw, who dutifully responded. To end on a note of humour, the Ombudsman suggested if the prisoner wished to pursue the matter further he should call the Ombudsman on his mobile. The prisoner replied by sending the Ombudsman his mobile phone number!

A source posed the question, 'What if a decoy was being used for the benefit of the media?'. Followed by, 'How would they know it is him?'. This applies also to the media and prison staff and inmates.

Meanwhile, the "Exocet" in his Ivory Tower, categorically states that the CSC's would not be used for any prisoner who did not fit the criteria. It maybe that the Daily Mirror is not as clued up as it thinks it is. I am reminded of the Prison Governor who was not aware that the Prison Rules he was relying upon had been revoked on 1st of April 1999, and there he was on the 8th of April conducting an adjudication upon me for a breach of the Prison Rules! The MoJ has relatively recently changed a Prison Rule in relation to CSCs. Whereas previously there were just 4 CSCs, now there are CSCs in every prison. The 4 CSCs remain in operation, what used to be the Segreation Units (punishment blocks) are now called CSCs. All rather confusing, I know.

You all heard it here first.

For those [as yet] non-cons, what's a CSC?

James: The point of including a link in a post is to further explain to those who bother to follow the link. What part of "Close Supervision Centre (CSC)" did you not understand? Wake up at the back there:-)

i have visited the csc unit at hmp wakefield, i visited my loved on there and i felt i were in an other dimension like a concentration camp its was awful and so distressing because of the major clear blatant breach of human rights with the way prisoners are treated forced to stand behind a small hatch on the wall with bars across it in a prison cell and prevented physical contact with there loved ones was shocking to me, that the fact a visitor had to climb onto this obstructing table in order to greet there family loved one including small children and note the prisoners very young disabled child having to be subjected to this inhuman treatment is disgusting, the fact this was immediately reported in 2009 to appropriate officals ouside of the prison service and forced work to improve the gross csc visiting facilitie at hmp wakefield ie largely expanding of the small barred hatch on the wall to now allow the prisoner to sit with a clear view and the table moved over to allow him physical contact in a human way ie visitors no longer having to climb onto the large obstructing table was forced onto wakefield prisons csc unit, earlier this year 2010, so if any prison officer working in a csc unit for the the prison service that willfully facilitates inhuman degrading, demoralizing, treatment of a prisoner and or there loved ones as visitors remember you read this.

Anyone who abuses there PROFESSIONAL positon to willfully cause harm to a human life IS WRONG.
