The weekend starts early in Hull
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday it's just one long pub crawl along Beverley Road. It used to be mainly the yoofs and students with a few oldies thrown in. Now the Eastern Bloc have added the Polish, Russian, Latvians etc into the mix of drunken revelers.
I have just "finished" a piece of work. Reading a student's Phd thesis. It was a case of the agony and the ecstasy. Next week I need to send off my comments to the author. Meanwhile, I will still be thinking.
Now it's going to be fek, arse and drink and getting stoned. I have not touched anything for ages for me, must be two weeks, I need a break to come down.
Isn't thinking a wonderful thing?
