Ronnie Biggs in progressive move from hospital to care home

Ronnie Biggs in progressive move from hospital to care home

Ronnie Biggs, the Great Train Robber, has been moved to a nursing home in Barnet, north London, after making a strong enough recovery to leave hospital

Mr Biggs is living proof that Dan Hannan is talking out of his arse in relation to the NHS. He gave up freedom in Brazil for captivity in the UK to get NHS care in his old age.

Unless you have seen a member of your family after a stroke and Ronnie is reported to have had several. There is no return, it is torture for the person and the family. Ronnie being moved to a nursing home is no small comfort for him. This idea of him being full of new life after being released from prison is bull.He will still have to be nursed and his daily bodily functions taken care of. Humiliating and very, very sad.
