Christmas in September at Aldi

Christmas in September at Aldi

I don't think it quite worked out my trip up to Aldi's to save money, my shopping bill came to £33. Mind you, I did buy half a leg of lamb, rump steak, some trainers and 5kg of dog biscuits...

The Christmas Market signs did tickle my sense of humour.

jailhouselawyer,

You did very well; same items in this area cost much more. The joint alone will last you a week.

Sounds like a bloody good shopping trip John.

If you fancy some chips to go with the rump steak maybe anonymous 6.04pm could spare you a few of the chips he obviously has on his shoulder.

anon 4.41: RonKnee brought me a bottle of vodka, some baccy and Rizlas so those items were already covered. Friday and Saturday nights both saw me having to wake up on the sofa and drag myself off to bed. Last night I had company, Victor and Daiga (Liana's son in law, and daughter) who also brought a bottle of vodka and some blackcurrant juice.

richard,

No chips on shoulder or anywhere else, just hard retail facts.

John,

I'm surprised you gave the pair house room given the aggravation you've been made to suffer of late.

No, John. Yiyiman bought you that bottle of vodka. It was just feckin' luck that you got it in an unopened condition.......
