Why is Pearson Park becoming a battle ground?

Why is Pearson Park becoming a battle ground?

As per usual, when there is a fight and criminal damage in Pearson Park, the police are nowhere to be seen until too late, because they are too busy sat on their arses or chasing innocent dog walkers. The Chief Constable of Humberside, Tim Hollis, has not explained his policy of sending emergency response vehicles from the furthest point of the scene of action to the scene, when common sense dictates that it would be better to send those closer to the scene to an emergency. It's almost as though the police are saying we don't want to get involved.

jailhouselawyer,

They seem to be acting under questionable orders where Pearson Park is concerned.
