Council snoopers access 900 phone bills
Councils have used laws designed to combat terrorism to access more than 900 people's private phone and email records in the latest example of Britain's growing surveillance state.
There is something quite disturbing about bringing in laws to protect the public from the threat of terrorism, and then the State using the very same laws against the public whom it is claiming to seek to protect.
A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.
