The one that got away
Unlike the hypocrite and liar Iain Dale, I make no bones about it, if I had heard about Prince Harry going off to fight his phoney war first I would have blogged it and claimed the exclusive.
Unlike The Drudge Report, I would not claim that I had No Idea that the story had first been broken elsewhere, and then repeated again elsewhere, before picking it up and claiming a worldwide exclusive. This smacks of dishonesty. Matt Drudge has now been exposed for being a fraud. There are two ways of dealing with a source. One is to protect your source if that person falls into the whistleblower category, and the other is to credit the source of the story to give it credibility and do the decent thing by giving credit where it is due. Originally, I gave Matt Drudge credit for breaking the story. This was misplaced and Matt Drudge now only deserves criticism for being a plagiarist, that is a stealer of other people's ideas and words.
I disagree with the witch hunt being waged against Jon Snow. It is just a shame he credits Matt Drudge with breaking the story. Now I only credit him with breaking wind. And, I am fed up with the MSM claiming that the whole of Britain hails Prince Harry as a hero. I for one don't. He has done nothing heroic. It's the 3rd in line to the throne King's new clothes. We are told he has a suit of green. But he is naked. Soon he will be awarded a medal for his supposed contribution to the war effort. Just as well he is not lying face down in the gutter because the yellow streak running up his back might be mistaken for a limited parking restriction being imposed. All this nonsense about the leaking of the story putting Prince Harry and real soldiers at risk, they put themselves at risk by signing up and the actions of the warmongers Bush and Blair have put them at greater risk.
It's not just Matt Drudge being less than honest, its also the MSM being dishonest.
