Four hundred inmates are involved in a major disturbance at Ashwell jail in Rutland after a riot led to a "total loss of control" by prison officers.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are not more of the same throughout the penal estate, and I really suggest that the government rethinks its position on denying prisoners their human right to vote.
