A mixture of law, politics, autobiography and humour. Once described as "The Devilish Advocate" (Guardian), I do have the ability to provoke a response. Sometimes it comes from someone who uses a thought process, and sometimes from jerks usually associated with the knee.

At our old house some wags let of a series of small home made bombs in the middle of the road at 3.a.m. one morning. When I phoned the police the answer I got was "Well what do you expect us to do about it, they'll be gone by the time we get there".
He was actualy annoyed because I lost my temper with him.
