Daily Mirror comes out in support of prisoners votes

MPs are working themselves up into another reactionary lather over votes for prisoners. Turnouts are so low you'd think they'd encourage people to vote, not ban them.Other democracies, including Ireland and Germany, allow jail voting. Remand prisoners already can in Britain. So I've no objection to enfranchising our cons - so long as it's by postal ballot.
