Child porn prisoner found hanged
A 29-year-old man awaiting sentence for possessing indecent images of children has died after he was found hanging in his cell at a prison in Kent.
A Prison Service spokeswoman said staff at Elmley Prison had tried to resuscitate Tarot Ambrose.
She said he was found hanging at 1515 BST on 9 April and was pronounced dead three hours later.
"As with all deaths in custody, the prisons and probation ombudsman will conduct an investigation," she added.
