In the face of perversity
A 34-year-old man who has lived in London for three decades is to be deported to Somalia after a judge said his criminal record qualified him to survive in the war-torn country.
There is something perverse about attempting to deport someone who has lived in this country sine he was 4 years of age, and is now 34. I would say that this was not the intention of Parliament when drafting the legislation. I see no difference between this and Learco Chindamo's case.
