
The Labour MP for Dewsbury resigned from his post amid suspicions that his rental arrangements over his second home may have breached the Ministerial Code of Conduct.
The Telegraph revealed today that Mr Malik was paying well below the market rate for his constituency home in West Yorkshire, which he rents from a landlord who has a conviction for letting an uninhabitable property.
It's a start. But, we really should be having quite a few more resignations.
